Firm Administrator Christine Wittneben on Hand for Home Dedication Ceremony

In October, 2010, SilvermanAcampora employees and friends donated a day of work to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk County. On April 20, 2011, Firm Administrator Christine Wittneben, along with dozens of other volunteers and sponsors, looked on as the keys to the completed home were presented to Lauren Byer and her daughters at a dedication ceremony in Bellport, New York. Walking for a Cause

For the second year in a row, SilvermanAcampora will be sponsoring teams of walkers for two major fundraising events. On May 1, 2011, a team of walkers led by Justin Krell will join walkers from all over Long Island to raise funds and awareness for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Additionally, on May 22, 2011, the second annual Every Woman Matters Walk will kick off at Jones Beach. Team Leaders Rachael Dioguardi and Christine Quigley will also be sponsoring a bake sale and raffle. Proceeds from all events will support the building of the Katz Women’s Hospital at Long Island Jewish Medical Centers in both New Hyde Park and North Shore hospitals.
