The Cyber Security Forum hosted by Chubb and supported by ourselves, Hub International and Applied Computer Technologies drew an audience of some 40 people from a wide variety of Long Island manufacturing businesses. Our own Keith Frank was a member of the panel and brought his considerable experience to bear on the discussion.
Cyber security can be a difficult subject to wrap your head around with so many moving parts, and so many angles to consider. The panel did a great job breaking it all down into workable action points. Attendees left armed with how to take both proactive, and necessary, steps in order to protect their companies’ operational and financial future. The terrifying reality of cyber risk can be overwhelming, but the good news is that there are things all companies can do to protect themselves. The panel addressed how to protect against cyber criminals by addressing legal, Insurance and IT cyber vulnerabilities in this age of the “Internet of Things” where almost all business is dependent on computer systems.
