Our Partner-In-Charge, Anthony Acampora and Lisa Skruck, a member of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Group, attended the Manufacturing Consortium of Long Island membership meeting held at the offices of Rechler Equity. MCLI is a much needed resource and “quarterback” for local manufacturers who represent an essential part of our local economy.
SilvermanAcampora is a founding board member of MCLI and actively involved in the Long Island manufacturing community. The meeting was lead by MCLI Chair, Anne Shybunko-Moore of GSE Dynamics, and by MCLI President, Jamie Moore.
A broad spectrum of businesses and companies interested in supporting the Long Island manufacturing community were present including Mike Caton of M3 Technologies, representatives of Curtiss Wright, Scott Berfas of Newmark Grubb Knight, Matt Thompson of Morgan Stanley, and Scott Schneider of Applied Computer Technologies. Also present were “Mr. Long Island”, Mike Watt and several representatives of Suffolk County on behalf of County Executive Steve Bellone.
MCLI is a passionate advocate for manufacturers of all types here on Long Island. Their mission is simple; to help sustain and grow Long Island’s industrial base. Their tireless work is helping to raise the profile of Long Island companies both at home and overseas. Anthony Acampora (Partner-in-Charge) – one of the founding board members of this exciting organization – provides counsel and support to both the organization itself and emerging businesses throughout Long Island.
