SilvermanAcampora partnered with EURO LATAM LEX, the international Network of law firms, to hold its VI International Congress in Washington D.C. on February 6 and 7,2020. EURO LATAM LEX organizes regular events of legal and economic discussions with lawyers and business leaders from various continents in order to identify topics of mutual interest and to create opportunities for cross border collaboration.

“Challenges in Compliance as We Enter the New ‘Roaring Twenties’”, is the theme chosen for this 6th Congress, was held on February 6 and 7, 2020 at the Washington D.C. headquarters of the law firm Holland & Knight. With an ambitious program, the aim of the conference was to present the latest legal and compliance developments related to currently relevant subjects, including anti-corruption, the figure of the whistle blowers in corporations, privacy policies, money laundering and the regulation of trade between the United States and the United Kingdom in the post-Brexit era.
Participants in the Congress, included not only representatives of the more than 30 law firms members of ELLEX, from 20 US, Latin American, Middle Eastern and European countries, but also prominent experts from all over the world.
